		Derby Phoenix made an excellent start to the 2001 campaign by winning the Lucozade Trophy at Dove Valley, Uttoxeter.  We ran out victors by 14 points beating off the challenges of Calverton, Dove Valley, Chase and Whitchurch to lift the title.  Phoenix celebrated 12 individual victories--five of which came in the 14 years age group.  Jacob Keane, Joanne Reeks, Abbey Corden, Paul Donald, Rebecca Pratt, Gemma Llanos, Emma Ryde, Adam Fulford, Simon Johnston, Simon Bramley and Natalie Bates all won their races.
