Derby Phoenix has had a long association with the Edinburgh Club, they have a Trophy that was donated by  Phoenix that is competed for every year.  We are trying to resurrect a regular exchange between the Clubs and hope top organise a visit and Gala.  Please let the committee know if you are in favour of this and would go on such a trip.

The Spondon School pool has been closed due to the fire damage that it and surrounding buildings have suffered.  The School have informed us that the pool is unlikely to ever re-open due to the cost of restoration.  Derby Phoenix has made alternative arrangements to use the Lonsdale pool on Saturdays and thus we have been able to continue to operate lessons for those children who used to go to Spondon.  We are sorry for the problems that this closure has caused, we will do our best to get the decision changed.
