A New Milestone for Derby Phoenix Swimming Club
We kicked off the year with something brand new for Derby Phoenix Swimming Club, our first licensed long‑distance time trials! Swimmers stepped up to tackle the 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle races, all within a brilliant atmosphere full of encouragement and team spirit.
The event was a fantastic success and showed just how much our swimmers can achieve when given the chance to push themselves. We’re excited to run more of these sessions and hope to open future long‑distance trials to other clubs too.
